Following are some of the key details about our new position:
- Five years-plus of experience in most, if not all, aspects of LTL general commodities, 3PL and brokerage relationships, specialized commodities (high value, special handling, time sensitive, expedited, temp-controlled product) and job-site delivery services
- Responsibility for our West Michigan and Detroit-area sales personnel, plus new staff as we continue to grow
- Creative approaches, research skills, and analytics experience are required
- Must become Michigan-based, have a strong customer following, and extensive professional connections to share with Zip Xpress

We are a 100-percent asset-based carrier with a spotlessly maintained headquarters, equipment, and campus in Holland, Michigan.
Our pick-up territory includes all of Michigan, Eastern Canada, Northern Ohio, and Indiana – for servicing to 36 U.S. states (including Alaska, Hawaii), Western Canada, and Mexico.
Of the Zip Xpress existing revenue base, 98 percent is customer-direct business.
Our reputation is beyond good. In fact, we have customer relationships that are so strong and long-lasting that we call them our Raving Fans. The Director of Sales will help cultivate existing staff toward the Zip Xpress mission of great service for present and future Raving Fans.
Compensation for the Director of Sales includes a base salary consistent with background of successful professional growth and exceptional performance. A company car, credit card, bonuses, and more are part of the package.
